Borough Emergency Coordination Centre (BECC) Training - All Staff
The BECC will be a hub of activity during the Borough’s response to an emergency and can call on anyone in the council to support. To ensure you have the basic understanding of the BECC and what is expected we have developed all staff BECC training.
Our bespoke BECC All Staff Training provides an introduction to emergency planning from the perspective of the Districts and Boroughs. Here we avoid getting into too much detail, but we’ll make sure that you know exactly what you need to know to feel as comfortable as possible during an emergency.
What is Covered
- The Role of the Local Authority during emergencies of differing scales
- Command, control and coordination
- The BECC set up, processes and staffing
- Working with other agencies
- BECC Systems and logging
Most of the training offered to our long term Local Authorities is free for all staff. Where courses are not free, this will be indicated.
None - all staff whether experienced or not can attend this training (and in some cases, are required to attend). If you are not sure, speak to your AR Council Lead or email info@appliedresilience.org
