Too often we come across plans which have been written by an individual or a small team and then sit on a shelf with nobody else in the organisation aware of what they say. A brilliant way to get over this is to test that plan, so that your key players get to grips with it, and so that you can improve it where there are gaps (there will be gaps - there always are).
