Surrey Heath Borough Council did a great job today, as our Senior Resilience Advisor Jessica Lira put them through their paces.
Our live, interactive exercise simulated a major incident, giving staff a chance to practice their roles in a safe learning environment.
Jessica said:
"Embedding arrangements in this way is crucial to emergency response plans actually working during a real event. There is no point in having a plan that is not tested, and it is actually a fun way to build confidence and team work while also helping ensure the council can support vulnerable residents in an emergency"
