Ahead of the winter season Applied Resilience and Surrey Search and Rescue are running Water Safety Awareness Training for our Borough council partners in Surrey.

The training is aimed at any staff who may work near or in water including those who may respond close to or in Flood water during a flooding incident. It is an interesting and interactive session from experienced water rescue personal.

Aim: To provide water awareness training to staff who may work near or in water.

Objectives:
Train staff of the risks associated with water, including those in flood water.
Detail what are safe working environments.
Detail safety measures when working near Water.
Personal Protective Equipment
Demonstrate and allow staff to become competent in throwing a throw line.
