Ensuring key actions, decisions and information are captured is fundamental to emergency response. Therefore, logging is relevant to almost anyone who is required to respond to an incident, ranging from on call clinicians or duty directors to decision loggists supporting Incident Control Centres or key meetings.

Build your confidence in how to log by taking part in this two and a half hour training session, which will not only arm you with some key logging tips, but also develop your logging ability through several interactive exercises.

This course is great for
Anyone in a key emergency response role e.g. On call clinical managers or duty directors, AEO/Deputy AEOs, senior managers with responsibility for business continuity or under emergency plans. Anyone who would be suited to take on the role of a loggist during an incident (e.g. someone who typically takes minutes, decision logs or actions).

This training is open to any on-going NHS partners (such as CSH-Surrey & HCRG Care Group) for free. Other providers are welcome, but please note there is a £450 charge per person, or you can request this is brought in house.

None, however some familiarity with your organisations Major Incident or similar plans would be a distinct advantage
